Pondapple Maintenance Association
Unofficial Monthly Board Meeting Notes
December 8, 2004
-
Brian and Donna Mulgrew of Florida Coast Services attended the meeting
and will be preparing a proposal for tree trimming and removal. The
trees have been marked with red tags for possible removal, yellow for
heavy reduction, and orange for regular trimming. Board and Beautification
Committee members will walk the neighborhood Friday, Dec. 10 to review
the trees needing work. Removal is "possible" because homeowners
will be asked to pay for half the
cost of trees to be removed from their property. Each homeowner
will get a proposed contract, and will be billed separately.
Pondapple will pay for trees in common areas, in addition to paying
for all trimming and reduction.
-
We received a proposal from Pisces Landscaping to clean up overgrowth
along Powerline resulting from years of neglect. We accepted the proposal and requested that work be completed by Dec. 23, 2004.
-
PODS placed in driveways will have a 30 day limit, after which they
must be removed from the property and stored elsewhere if needed.
Letters will be sent to residents when PODS appear in driveways.
Also, letters will go out to residents keeping trucks in their
driveways requiring them to remove them immediately, storing them in
their garages or elsewhere. Finally, a letter will go out to a resident
whose red and black/white dogs were allowed to run free, and apparently
tried to bite someone.
-
JKA's bid for sprinkler maintenance was approved, for less than what
we had been paying. We will require itemized bills for supplies used.
JKA is currently the company providing our fertilization and pest
control. We will continue their contract for those services.

The decision at the October 4 Special Assessment meeting, to require a
second part of the assessment to cover costs of hurricane damage
cleanup, is upon us because apparently FEMA will not be assisting us.
The second payment of $200 per unit will now be payable due February
1, 2005.
