Pondapple Maintenance Association
Unofficial Monthly Board Meeting Notes
December 26, 2005
-
The accounting saga continues: We picked up all records from Benchmark
for 1999 through November 2005, but our new accountant determined that
what they received (March 2005 through Nov 2005) was inadequate, and
produced a report we didn't need. Apparently the difference between
accounting and bookkeeping was at issue, so we will meet with them
again next week, specifically to get them to produce a by-homeowner
list of history and payment record, listing debits, credits and
balances for each account. Also we will contact Benchmark to
determine if they are holding additional Pondapple checks, because we
recently picked up checks held by Benchmark that were not forwarded to
us. Also we will request them to give our new address to homeowners
who contact them, and return a check they gave us from another
property. Related to this, three Board members will review our
accounts at Bank of America.
-
Past and present landscape maintenance work was reviewed, tree
trimming needs and finished work was reviewed, and new sprinkler repair
work at various locations was discussed.
-
The electrical work at the entrance is done. All the lamps in the
street lights are now white.
-
Thank you, Mike Ambach, for all your hard work!
-
We will contact the City of Boca about standing water at the entrance.
-
We will send out letters to homeowners who are in need of fence
replacement/repairs and roof repairs.
-
A resident's satellite dish was discussed, specifically a problem with size and exposed wires.
-
The entrance landscaping was reviewed again, with specifics of trees,
ground cover, and proposals from various companies discussed.
