Pondapple Maintenance Association
Unofficial Monthly Board Meeting Notes
December 5, 2012
Board members in attendance were Bianca, Duke, Norton, and David.
-
Finances: We have stable operating and reserves accounts.
Pest control and tree trimming are paid up for the season.
We will open a line of credit with the bank so that we can have ready
access to funds for needed road repair once Hackberry is ready for the
joint project. Rent received on the house which was foreclosed on
will soon cover legal expenses for acquiring the property, so that
soon the rent will add to our reserves.
-
We plan to have the pest company set up a regular maintenance program
for the lawns.
-
Several issues were discussed at length regarding problems in the
neighborhood, including scarcity of parking, illegal parking,
solutions for increasing parking spaces, and procedures for having the
towing service remove cars parked on the street overnight.
-
Also at issue are neighbors whose behavior is disturbing the peace and
showing no consideration for others living in the neighborhood; pets
which are being neglected and allowed to roam, foul our properties and
disturb neighbors; trash which is put on someone else's property and
put out for days before the pickup days for the items put out. The
unsightly mess which this places at our curbs decreases the value of
all the homes in the neighborhood. If all residents would just be
courteous and mindful of others around them, our neighborhood would be
a much more pleasant place to live.
