Pondapple Maintenance Association
Unofficial Monthly Board Meeting Notes
September 15, 2005
-
During a discussion of association finances, the need for residents
delinquent on payments to pay what they owe was highlighted,
especially in view of several large expenses recently including tree
trimming, replacement of an irrigation pump, and legal fees.
-
The Official Beautification Committee Palette Of Paint Colors was
debuted. These colors are acceptable for house painting and driveway
concrete stains. They were approved, and some additional "warm"
colors are to be added.
-
We will speak to our landscaper about removing debris from common
areas and trimming grass adjacent to fences.
-
As part of our annexation, the City of Boca Raton will provide power
for existing lights. They have a program to replace streetlights with
those used throughout the city. We have to pay for trenching, then
FPL will maintain.
-
The removal of the ficus trees from the center of our entrance was
approved. Following that, plans are afoot to put in foxtail palms,
surrounded by ferns and flowers, with lights spotlighting palms and
around perimeter. This, along with further trimming of the ficus
trees on each side of the entrance, will allow more light to reach the
plants. We will investigate additional costs.
-
Cars parked on center islands are still a problem and will be towed
forthwith. A new sign at the entrance will reflect our new towing
company, Bonnie's Towing, 561-347-1840, at 160 W. Camino Real #166,
Boca, 33482.
